How to Play

Objective

Win all the computer's chips. Each hand, you and the computer get two private hole cards and share five community cards; the best five-card hand from the seven available wins the pot.

Hand Flow

  • Blinds: the dealer posts the small blind (5), the other player the big blind (10); the dealer button alternates every hand
  • Pre-flop: both players get two hole cards and a round of betting follows
  • Flop, Turn, River: three, then one, then one community card, each followed by betting
  • Showdown: remaining players reveal their cards; best five-card hand takes the pot

Your Actions

  • Fold: give up the hand and the pot
  • Check / Call: match the current bet (or check when there's nothing to call)
  • Min Raise / ½ Pot / Pot / All-In: raise the stakes; no-limit means you can always push everything in

Controls

  • D or Space — Deal next hand
  • F — Fold, C — Check / Call
  • R — Min raise, A — All-in
  • S — Show the computer's cards after a hand ends on a fold

Tips

  • Heads-up, you should play far more hands than at a full table; any ace or pair is strong
  • Position matters: as the dealer you act last after the flop and can control the pot
  • Watch pot odds: calling 10 into a 100 pot only needs to win 1 time in 11
  • The computer estimates its odds and bluffs occasionally; big bets usually mean strength

From strongest to weakest; within the same category, higher cards win.
